From the October 16th, 2008 jump off at The Vagabond, (((SHAKE))) cracked the foundation of Miami nightlife, with aftershocks still felt to this day.

This week Young Grandma and A-Train are going to be making your ass shake in the bar while DZA and Manuvers take you on a no-holds-barred trip through th every best of hip-hop. The patio will be a free range safari through the musical recesses of their minds.

(((SHAKE))) has since been named Miami New Times' BEST WEEKLY PARTY 2009 and BEST MONTHLY PARTY 2010 for their groundbreaking dubstep party, GET LOW.

Besides press accolades, the Miami's party people have embraced the (((SHAKE))) with open arms, as a way to get their weekend started right with the best hip hop sounds, $1 Colt 45's, Chug Contests, Nintendo playing + mas sorpresas. Their weekly devotion has been rewarded with performances by Hip Hop heavyweights THE BEATNUTS, CUT CHEMIST, TONY TOUCH, NOREAGA, MARLEY MARL; Dubstep monsters MALA, N-TYPE, DATSIK; and local favorites MAYDAY and SUENALO.

LEGENDARY PRODUCER/DJ MARLEY MARL AT THE VAGABOND (((SHAKE))) AUG 26TH!

MARLEY MARL was one of hip-hop's first superproducers; an early innovator in the art of sampling, developing new techniques that resulted in some of the sharpest beats and hooks in rap's Golden Age. His trademark raw sound became from triggering short samples loaded in 3 Korg SDD-2000 sampling-delay units through the trigger out of the Roland TR-808. As the founder of Cold Chillin' Records, Marl assembled a roster filled with some of the most prominent hip hop talent then working in New York: MC Shan, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shanté, Kool G Rap & Polo, and Masta Ace. His production work for those and many other artists generally boasted a bright, booming, and robust sound that -- along with his ear for a catchy sample -- helped move street-level hip-hop's sonic blueprint into more accessible territory. Most important, though, were his skills as a beatmaker; Marl was among the first to mine James Brown records for grooves and also learned how to craft his own drum loops through sampling, which decreased hip-hop's reliance on tinny-sounding drum machines and gave his '80s productions a fresh, modern flavor.

Hatcha is Croydon's answer to Moodyman and has over 18 years of DJ experience under his belt. Following a job as A&R man and shop hand at the legendary Big Appple Records, Hatcha became the first main DJ behind the now worldwide recognised Dubstep genre. He also mixed the very first " "Dubstep Allstars" compilation (and volume 4 alongside Youngsta), making his name as the Godfather of Dubstep.

Going on to DJ all over the world and release on some of the genres leading labels, Hatcha holds his weekly radio show on Kiss FM alongside Crazy D and was the first DJ to host a commercial radio show based soley around Dubstep.

With 2010 promising to be even more successful with the launch of Hatcha's new Sin City label and events alongside fellow Dubstep legend N Type , a host of big gigs already confirmed, as well as remixes, orginal productions and some big collaborations, Hatcha has and will continue to firmly cement his name in music history.
